How do I engage reader mode in Safari.
I used to use reader mode all the time, but now I cannot see how to engage. I see no “AA” as the instructions say. If I go into settings, I can enable by site but of course, I can not diable it without going back to settings. What am I missing?

Look in the address bar at the top of the browser. See the button at the left? Click that. It looks like a box with two lines under it. That brings up a whole set of controls, one of which is Show Reader. This button looks different than the Aa button in previous versions of macOS.
The button is only there if there is an article that can be shown in Reader View though. So try it on articles and post pages.
Or, use View, Show Reader.
Or, use Shift+Command+R.
