How Do I Get My Videos From My iPhone To My Mac Without Compressing Them?

Hello Everyone,

I need to get my videos from my iPhone (6s) to my Mac book Pro (touch). However my Airdrop doest work anymore on my iPhone. Is there another way to get my videos on my Mac without compressing the videos?
My iCloud Photo Library is turned on on both devices however the photos and videos are not on my computer. How do I change that? Also when I use a cable to connect my phone my Mac does not react.

Is there any other way?

Thx!!

First, I would figure out why your AirDrop is not working. Check and recheck your settings. Get a firsthand look by an expert if you can't figure it out.

The same for iCloud Photo Library. If it is turned on on both devices, and you are using the same Apple ID for both, then they should be seeing the same library. No need to use a cable to connect for iCloud Photo Library. Just make sure your iPhone is charged and plugged in for it to upload photos and videos.

There is another way. You can connect your iPhone to your Mac with the cable, then run Image Capture on your Mac. Then you can manually download the videos you want.

But I would figure out why AirDrop and iCloud Photo Library are not working as those are two major features that make both your devices better and you shouldn't have to go without them.
