The Home button is a browser function. It takes you to the home page you set in your browser preferences.

So I'm not sure what you mean by a Home button for Finder windows. Are you looking for a quick way to open the browser and go to the Home page?

Or, are you looking for a way to go to your user home directory? The place for the latter is in the left sidebar, under Favorites. If you don't already see the Home folder listed there as a Favorite, then go to Finder, Preferences, Sidebar. Then check your home folder (has the name of your user account next to a house icon).

Perhaps he means Finder Preferences which shows a Home button if it is checked.
