How Do I See Another Mac In Finder Sidebar?

In the past, I have selected our upstairs Mac under “Locations” from the Finder sidebar in order to transfer files to it over wifi from my MacBook Air.

I just replaced that MacBook Air with a newer one, but on my new MacBook Air, the upstairs Mac does not appear in the “Locations” list in the Finder sidebar.

Which settings would I need to change to make it appear? And on which Mac? Thank you.

Did you enable File Sharing? It is in System Preferences, under Sharing. Check the Options button there to make sure both of your Macs are using the same type of file sharing too.
