How To Sync Photos From iPhone 6 To Mac?

Your Original Question:
I took a dozen pictures 3 days ago with my iPhone 6 and they have not sync with my Mac. This is the first time this has happened. I have not changed any settings on either the iPhone or the Mac. Why did this happen and how do I correct it for future photos? I am using photos to view the photos in question. However, under iCloud all three boxes are checked. I also am using iCloud library

If you have both Photo Stream and iCloud Photo Library then consider that you probably don't need them both. iCloud Photo Library will sync all of your photos between devices. Photo Stream is then not really needed.
But as to why iCloud Photo Library isn't syncing, keep in mind that you should be connected to Wi-Fi, be charging (plugged in), and have almost a full charge (say 90% or so). If those three conditions are not met, then your iPhone will wait to sync photos until later on.
If you have met all of those conditions, then look in Settings, Photos & Camera. Look under the iCloud Photo Library switch at the top. What does it say? Does it say "Last updated..." or something like "Syncing X photos...?" This should give you a clue as to what is going on.

How about using the Image Capture app? Connect iPhone to computer and transfer desired photos to computer to desired location. Photos can be removed on the iPhone or left on the iPhone.
