Hi, I need to copy some files from my Mac to give to a PC user. They are not large files just a few letters etc. I plan to use a memory stick. How should I format the stick so that the PC and Mac can read and copy the files? Many thanks

You would format the external drive FAT32 (for an older PC) or ExFAT and they would be formatted for Windows, but useable on a Mac too.
However, if there are just a few small files, why use hardware at all? Email, iCloud or Dropbox, would be a quick and easy option.
Hi Gary. Many thanks for your speedy response. That is exactly what I wanted. The external drive will be given to someone with a PC and they are not familiar with iCloud or Dropbox. The files are too large for my server to send via email. Again many thanks, Gill
