In Mail, How Do I Select All Emails In a Date Range Instead Of One At a Time?

Trying to clean up my inbox and can only select old messages one at a time.

You can select as many messages as you want from the list by clicking on the first message, then holding the shift key down and clicking on the last message. This will select the range.

You can also use the Command key to add messages one at a time to the selection, or to deselect one from the list.

Thanks for the quick reply Gary! I realize now that my query wasn’t as clear as it could’ve been. I meant to ask how to delete them on an iPhone or iPad.

Bob: On the iPhone, you need to select them one at a time. Tap Edit and then choose the ones you want. Shouldn't take too long if we are talking 100 emails or less. Even 200. But if you have more than that, then you should take case of it either on your computer or in one the web (such as with Gmail, Yahoo, etc).
