iPhone stocks app won’t dislay options since new option symbol took effect on Jan 22

I have been tracking stock options in the stocks app by put a doy .x at the end, i.e SLVPO.X. Now that the new 22 digit symbols are being used, I can’t figure out how to track these. When I try the new 22 character symbol, it says not recognized. I have have tried the base number, such as QQQ100320P00040000, QQQ100320P00040000.X and -QQQ100320P00040000. I have also tried the smaller versions QQQ1032P04000. Nothing works.

I'm not sure of the answer. But I do know that the Stocks app is Yahoo, so using the symbols that Yahoo finance uses in their URLs should get you the result you want. Or, try one of the many 3rd-party apps.

Mine hasn't been working for a while i was tracking oil, gold, and copper futures. It doesn't matter if you use the built in app, yahoo app, or bloomberg or whatever the tickersymbols for the commodities won't work. The exact same symbols work fine on the internet from a regular windows pc.
