Hi Gary
Yesterday, my Mac needed to be restarted because of a Kernel Panic. My question is: why did the Kernel Panic occur?
Extra info: I had iTunes running, Multiple Safari webbpages, Mail, Skype, Adium. But I got a kernel panic when I switched to another user account.
Also, I have a theme pack “SnowTunes 2.0” installed, could that be the possible culprit?

It is hard to tell it could have been any of those. You can access logs with the Console app, but unless you are a software engineer, you probably can't tell from that either. It could be that one of those third-party programs has a bug that makes it fail during a user switch.
I also have SnowTunes installed and have no issues.
A kernel panic happens, it could be for any number of reasons, so don't sweat it.
Most kernel panics I've seen lately are mechanical or electrical in origin. I had a friend with a mac with a crappy USB port. The cable from the printer crashed the mac when we plugged it in.
Check for animal hair and other dirt in your ports before you get too worried and then track the behavior and see whether you can figure out what's triggering it.
Kernal panics aren't good for computers, so I find it's not quite as simple as not worrying about it.
