Keynote With Music and Video With Sound

I’m making a self playing Keynote memorial presentation for my uncle to be shared on iCloud to family and friends around the country. I’m playing a couple of his favorite songs in the background. I have one slide 2/3rds through with a video with sound shot with my iPhone. The background music plays right through the video sound.
Is there a way to make the music stop or decrease while the video is playing?

The way I would do it is to export the keynote as video. Don't include any music or the slide with the video. Then import that video into iMovie and use iMovie to add the background video and also insert the other video in the right spot.
It will be more work for you, and a learning curve if you have never used iMovie before, but it is probably the best way to get from what you have to what you want.
Plus, once you are done with it in iMovie you can export it as a video from there and then play that video instead of playing the Keynote. You can also upload it to YouTube and share it with friends and family who could not make it to the memorial or who want to see it again after.
