Tonight I got a notification that Google Reader would cease on July 1, 2013. There are a lot of Readers in the MAS, but I hate to buy and try. I was wondering if anybody would care to recommend readers that work/function similarly to the Google Reader – which really satisfies my uses?

I'm trying NewsBlur right now but their servers are struggling right now. I imagine many are exporting over.
I need one that I can use on my personal Mac and my work PC laptop. That was the beauty of Google Reader, it was a web site. Everything I'm researching now involves downloading software. Ugh.
I found my Google Reader replacement: Twitter. Most bloggers I follow send out tweets when they update their blogs. I created a Twitter List to keep track of these people. Problem solved.
Check out Feedly.
Like Mark says it seems Feedly is going to have a huge following. The Old Reader also seems to be popular.
