I have an iPhone 6s and I’m looking for recommendations for a solid but not too expensive external mic to plug in for recording voice memos.
To be clear, this is NOT for recording lectures in a classroom setting but for simply recording my own voice memos with better quality at close distance, so looking for non-omni directional mic suggestions. Thanks!

I haven't use many of of the microphones that are available for the iPhone. One I have tried is by "PowerDeWise" and you can find it by searching for that on Amazon. It is a lapel mic that you can connect to your iPhone. I had to use the port converter that comes with the iPhone to do it, but if I remember correctly an iPhone 6s is old enough to have an audio jack. It isn't very expensive, so it is worth a try.
