What Are Safe Setting Guidelines for Chrome?

I would like to know what should be checked in the Chrome Preferences on my Mac.The information should include Privacy Content Settings. Passwords & forms/Web content/ etc. The more suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am using OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6

Well, just looking through the settings I don't see anything that isn't obvious. The "Protect you and your device from dangerous sites" setting for instance.
Using he password storage settings is usually a GOOD thing. I use 1Password or iCloud for this, and I'm not sure how Chrome's functionality compares to that. But using your browser to store passwords means you can use good strong long passwords and different ones from every account. That is very important. Critical, really. So I would get to know the password management function in Chrome or go with 1Password or something similar for that. All of the privacy settings and security settings in the world aren't worth anything if your passwords are truly strong and unique.
