Why So Many iPad App Updates?

I get about 40+ updates on my iPad but only one or 2 on my MacBook and even less on my iPhone. Why so many updates on the iPad??

    Hard to say without knowing all of the details. If you have many more apps on your iPad, then that would be one reason. Or, maybe you have automatic updates turned on on your iPhone and not your iPad, so you never notice them on your iPhone, but do see them pile up over days and weeks on the iPad. As for your Mac, my guess is that you have fewer third-party apps on your Mac than on your iOS devices. Maybe automatic updates turned on too.
