Can I Use iCloud Photo Library With High Sierra and iPadOS 13?

I have recently increased my iCloud storage amount but have not turned on iCloud photo storage. I would need to increase storage to do that as I have 90Gb or so (38,000 images and videos) in my Photos library. I am using iPad OS 13 on my iPad as well as IOS 13 on my iPhone. However, I am using High Sierra on my iMac. I am unable to upgrade to a later Mac OS presently as I have a bad internet connection. Before I upgrade storage I’d like your opinion if I’ll encounter any issues while using High Sierra while using later OS on my iOS devices

I don't know for sure as I do not have any Macs running High Sierra anymore. I did use iCloud Photo Library with one Mac still using Mojave, and iPhone using iOS 12, and another Mac using Catalina and an iPad using iPadOS 13 without any issues. So I would expect the same from a Mac using High Sierra. But there is no way for me to test.

I found this from Apple.... https://support.apple.com/el-gr/HT204230. My concern, possibly unfounded, is that High Sierra will not have the latest features that are supported by what follows High Sierra. This may result in some items in my photo library getting stored in iCloud photos, but will not be suitable for the later versions of IOS 13 and iPad OS I’ll probably give it a try, and make an update to this query.

Mike: Here is what happens when you try to view your upgraded Reminders in iOS 12. Pretty clever way to get the information across in older versions.
