I don't know that specific drive, but a search says it is a USB 3 drive if we are looking at the same thing. You want to make sure you buy a USB 3 drive for the fastest speeds on the current Macs.
I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work on a Mac. It even has "Mac" in the title, though most drives are cross-platform anyway. This particular model probably just comes pre-formatted for Mac, though that is easy to do with Disk Utility no matter how the drive comes originally.
