How Can I Create a Shortcut To Move Message In Apple Mail Mojave?

In Mojave Apple Mail will move a message to the “Predicted Mailbox”. I would like to set a keyboard combination to work with this rather than use the mouse but everything I have tried has failed. Is this possible just using the Keyboard preference?

What is the issue? Are you setting up the keyboard shortcut in System Preferences, Keyboard, using the exact name of the menu item? It has to be exact, so "Move To Predicted Mailbox." If so, do you see the new shortcut show up in the menu now?

Also, is the menu active? Just having a keyboard shortcut exist doesn't mean you can make a command like that become active if it is grayed out. For me it is grayed put, I assume, because I don't use mailboxes. I archive everything so I can easily search and find things.

Hi Gary, yes the "Move to Folder" menu item is active for me (not grey). However, I think I recognise the issue. The menu item says, "Move to Predicted Mailbox" and when it recognises the mailbox it replaces "Predicted Mailbox with the actual name of the mailbox. For example, "Move to Podcasts". Thus I cannot make a successful shortcut as the name changes. I will go back to using the MailHub plug-in.
