Both iMac and iPhone are on iCloud. The only way I can see certain music albums on my iPhone is through Home Sharing. But how can I download those albums to my iPhone?

So I'll assume you are not using Apple Music or iTunes Match. Either of those would sync things via the cloud.
Without them, it means you need to manually sync your iPhone to your Mac and select the music you want. It is the same process that started with the first iPhone in 2007 and hasn't changed much since.
Basically, you connect your iPhone to your Mac, then launch iTunes. Then you can choose the iPhone and set it to manually sync music, or use the syncing feature. Then you have a bunch of options where you can choose the playlists, artists, albums, etc. Then you sync.
