How Can You Create iPhone Shortcut for Showing File Without iCloudDrive/Dropbox?

Appreciate the recent post regarding creating a Shortcut to show a vaccination card, thank you. Is there a way to do the same with a local-only file? I.e. no iCloudDrive and no Dropbox, the scanned file is local on iPhone only. In the action GetFile tapping to turn off ShowDocumentPicker apparently only works if iCloudDrive or Dropbox is enabled.

Do not have and do not want either iCloudDrive or Dropbox.

You'd need to take another approach. Take a photo and store the image in your Photos app as normal, not as a scan in the Files app. Put it in its own album and name it something. You can use the Shortcuts app Find Photos action to get it based on the album name. Then use View Results or Quick Look to show it.

This solved my question on your video about getting photo image of the card on the iPhone. Only I scanned the card instead of taking photo of it. Now I can do this for other residents where I live. Thank you for the answer.

This worked perfectly for us, thank you for taking the time to respond. I do have to wonder why Apple doesn't allow the iPhone Shortcut action "Get File" to work on local-only files.
