I am using Pages version 10. How do I number a page non-sequentially? I need to start one document in Page Layout format at Page 9. I have another document in Word Processing format needing to jump from page 8 to page 18.

In Page Layout mode, click on the background of the page so no other element is selected. Now in the Format sidebar there is a section for page numbering. Use that to set the page number. The next page will have the next number, but you can change from "Continue from previous page" to "Start at" and assign your own number.
