I’ve recently figured out that you could put apps together on the iPhone but can’t figure out how to change the picture of the icon showing mini pictures of camera applications. I’d much rather have the icon showing a big camera. Does anyone know how to do that? Also it will need to be explained pretty concisely as I am a numb nut when it comes to technical.

There isn't a way to customize those folder icons. You just have to live with it how it is. You can always suggest to Apple that they add this as a feature.
