How Do I Edit Photos In Photoshop Elements and Keep My Library In Mac Photos?

Trying keep my photos in Mac photos and edit in Photoshop elements. How to I get my photos into Elements and back to MacPhotos. Working with an iMac 2019,10:15:2 and Elements 2020.

    Have you tried using the External Editor For Photos extension? You can get it in the Mac App Store.

    Most graphics apps can be used with Photos without it, but for some reason Photoshop doesn't seem to want to add that extra function. But by using this extension you should be able to do it.

    I did a video on it a while back, but the basics are still the same. It just looks a little different in Photos. https://macmost.com/using-external-editors-with-the-photos-app.html
