How do I export then delete photos from my iPhone 6 to my 21” iMac os11? I have tried PHOTOS and even tried ANYTRANS but I am lost and need step by step help.

    There are many ways to do it. If you are using iCloud, then having iCloud Photos turned on on both machines means they will automatically sync. It is the simplest way to do it. You don't have to even connect them.

    If you aren't using iCloud Photos, then you have to transfer them manually. You should be able to do so by connecting your iPhone to your Mac, then launching Photos, then importing the images. You said you tried this, but you didn't say what had happened or went wrong. So it is hard for me to help more.

    I use an app I bought from Apple called Photosync. It is similar to using Airdrop and has some additional features like keeps track of which images were transferred. As well, there is PhotoSync for Android and PC.
