How Do I Set a Firmware Password On an M1 Mac?

How to set a firmware password on a 2021 14-inch MacBook Pro M1 Pro chip?
I’m trying to do this to protect my mac from being booted by a different hard drive if it is stolen.

There is no such thing as a firmware password with Apple Silicon.

Apple: "This feature requires a Mac with an Intel processor. For the equivalent level of security on a Mac with Apple silicon, simply turn on FileVault."
