How Do I Sync a Keynote Presentation Made On My iMac To My iPad?

I would like to present the keynote from my iPad.

You can do that using any way that you normally transfer files between them. Most people would use a cloud service, mainly iCloud. If you are logged into the same Apple ID on both devices, then your iCloud Drive files will be in sync on both devices. Just save the Keynote presentation to iCloud Drive and open it up in Keynote on your iPad.

    Hi Gary,

Thank you for your quick response. Yes I had it set set up as you suggested, but it was not syncing. I was wondering if there was a way to initiate syncing. I have since airdropped the file to my ipad which was quick despite being a large file. Hope it will now keep syncing as amendments are made.

    Thanks Gary

Marc: It should sync automatically and pretty instantly. Perhaps try restarts, making sure they are all connected to Wi-Fi, etc.

I have found, at times, that if the file has not completed uploading to iCloud, it may not yet be available for downloading to other devices; and sometimes one has to manually trigger the download to the iOS/iPadOS device. One should not expect that everything saved to iCloud from a Mac could possibly fit into the limited space of an iOS device, hence the system seems to enable selectivity for the user.
