Trying to watch .wmv videos but do not know what software I need or where to store the videos.
This may sound stupid to you, just know that I am an old fart who is breaking away from 8-Track tapes.

Have you tried searching for "wmv" in the App Store to find an app that supports them? Maybe VLC Player does? It is just a matter of finding an app that does it. Or, maybe if you have the wmv videos on your computer, convert them to a more standard format there, before trying to view them on your iPad.
