How to burn a mp4 file that plays on a DVD player

Hi Gary, Is there a way to take an mp4 file from my computer & have it play on a standard dvd player?
I’m trying to make a copy without IDVD Themes ect. I would just like this 6 minute video to play by itself. Thank-you.
