Lion…..how do I go back to Snow Leopard

I “upgraded” to Lion a few days ag and do NOT like it at all……. Not keen on all the gesture crap and launch pad and mission control I can frankly do without, they’re just different ways of doing things that were already there…..anyway I’m having speed issues and some flash content on websites has stopped working. I was wondering if theres an easy way to go back to SL….is it as simple as restoring from Time Machine??? Please help

You don't need to use all of those features if you don't like them (I'm sure there were features in SL that you didn't use).
As for Flash, I'll bet you had an old version. Just download and install from Adobe again. It works fine in Lion.
You could try restoring your entire drive from TM if you like. But that's not a good solution. Just ignore the new features if you don't like them.

I agree with Gary. And check out this MacWorld article which covers a few ways you can force Lion to appear and behave a bit more like Snow Leopard:

    http://www.macworld.com/article/161357/2011/07/how_to_make_lion_more_like_snow_leopard.html

But if you do decide to revert back, I suggest cloning over from your last bootable backup. If you didn't create one just before upgrading to Lion, you can't reliably downgrade by just selecting the last Time Machine backup created just before the upgrade - the current running system is "in the way".

So do you think it is the Flash Player causing the problems? Uninstall what you have now. See if the problems persist. Then install the newest version of Flash.
I've got Lion running on many Macs, not speed decreases (increases, though).
So if it still isn't working, then maybe a visit to the Genius Bar. Perhaps you have something else installed that is causing the issue.

I have just started to have trouble with the Flash Player, in the last month. When you want to watch a video a notice appearers in the middle of the screen. It says deny or allow to gain access to your computer. I have never had any bother with the Flash Player since i first bought a computer.

Have you uninstalled and re-installed (to make sure you have the latest version)?

I have the latest version, although Adobe states this is a beta version and also lists a lot of issues with Lion, in the link I posted above. I run iAntivirus free on my Mac, maybe this has something to do with it?

Could be. That's why you've got to test. Turn them each off (and others you can think of) and test.

Yes i went to adobe, and they are bringing out a new version of Flash, and they mentioned something about Lion. I detect by other articles not from Adobe, that there is going to be some competition. Google is brining out a site in competition with Facebook shortly. Like what Fin Maciver says: Adobe are saying quite a lot about Lion, and looking at the situation now, its chaos. This Lion is tuning out to be a White Elephant and it looks like the others are not going to play ball with Apple.

Google competing with Facebook doesn't have anything to do with Adobe Flash. I don't see Lion as a White Elephant at all. Any system upgrade has issues -- particularly with third-party developers not being on top of things. Lion has been available to developers for many months, so there's no excuse on their part.
