Getting older here and used to be able to enlarge the font size in Safari and on my imac. This option has disappeared both in Safari preferences and imac’s system preferences. I always update OS and software immediately. Help please and thank you very much in advance.

The zooming options haven't changed, as far as I can see. You can still choose View, Zoom In and Out (Command + or Command -) to easily adjust a webpage as needed.
For other things, it depends. You can still choose larger default test sizes for interface elements in System Preferences, Display, Display. But you need to set the Resolution to "Scaled" to do that and you must be using a retina display.
Other than that, you can just change your whole screen's resolution if you find you need to. That makes everything larger.
Thank you! We'll give it a try.
