Is it a easier way to dismiss notifications in big sur, without clicking on the X on the notification? It.s annoying to always have to go up and click on the X.

Do you mean in Notification Center? Or when the alerts appear on the screen while you are doing other things?

The easiest way is to not do anything at all. Instead, change the style from Alert to Banner. You do this in System Preferences, Notifications. Look for the app that is giving you notifications on the left, select it, then switch from Alerts to Banners for that. I'll have a video on this later this week or next.

I'm sorry for being vague Mr Gary, I meant, Is a Easier Way To Dismiss Notifications such as news and reminder notifications In Big Sur, Without Clicking On the X On the Notification? I know that I could set them as banner notifications, but I do not want the news notification to disappear before I read the news preview.

Steven: No, there's no other way. Either they dismiss automatically, or you have to take an action to do it. There is no keyboard shortcut as there can be many notifications. But keep in mind that if you set them to banners, you still have them in Notification Center. So if you don't get to read them before they move out, you can just go to Notification Center to read them there,

In Mojave, you could just push them off the screen. The x is so tiny it's like trying to hit the head of a pin.
