I am using DDG for Safari on my iPad and many times I get “cannot be opened because Ad Content blocker won’t open this page”. I was just on Etsy and most shops were blocked until I changed to Yahoo search engine. I love concept behind DDG. Is there a way to fix this? There doesn’t seem to be a way to contact them?

Which content blocker are you using? Why not simply turn it off if it is causing you so much trouble?
I’m using ad choices. I get tons of spam and I was hoping this would help. Regarding my question, this only happens when using DDG so I thought there was might be a connection. I made it my browser option, like you demonstrated in Safari. It’s unfortunate that when it happens I can switch to a non privacy browser and see the content without being shut out. What do you think?
Jes: A web browser content blocker is not going to prevent you from getting email spam. The best way to prevent email spam is to use a good email service that filters for it on the server, like iCloud or Gmail. I think the content filter you are using is poorly development and maintained if it is filtering DuckDuckGo.
Thanks, I’ll turn it off and see if that helps.
