I got an IM from a “friend” on FB suggesting I take a quiz. I did, and at the end it asked for my cell carrier and phone number to send me the results. I didn’t send in phone number and closed the site. It was bogus and NOT from my real friend. I reported it to FB and got no info of any value.
Is there anything else I should do?

I'm not a FB expert, so I'm not sure. Did you have to "join" anything or "add the app" before taking the quiz? If so, remove it, or leave the group you joined.
But I'd ask a FB security expert if you are really concerned.
