Is there a way of adding a cutaway image to a green screen video clip and maintain the audio like in a documentary? I can’t get it to work. The image ends up alongside the green screen background. Of course, the cutaway works perfectly when there is no green screen background.
I tried adjusting with the precision editor, like in the Mac boy-diving video, but I didn’t really understand what I was doing.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks for your videos, they are great!

I don't use Green Screen in iMovie much. But it sounds like you can't use both Green Screen and a cut-away at the same time. If that is the case, then consider doing just the Green Screen portion of your video, exporting that, then importing that back in for use with the cut-away. As long as you stick to high quality for the export, it shouldn't lose much.
IT WORKS!!! YAY! Thanks Gary - I was able to export my "base" green screen and then export it, then do all the effects with cutaway, etc. after that. You're the best! :) LG
