keynote to quicktime to imovie the video portion not working in Keynote

I completed a Keynote presentation. I have video in the Keynote.
I exported Keynote to Quicktime (fixed timing) and the entire Keynote was successfully installed in imovie. The video portion doesn’t have sound it appears to be a photo. Is this common? Do you recommend I put it in another keynote tile and re-send separately? It works in both Keynote and Quicktime.
Perhaps you have a video that can assist me.

    So after you export your video from Keynote, can you double-click it and play it in QuickTime X? If so, then at least you know you are successfully exporting it as a video.
