I’ve just started thinking about switching my websites from MobileMe to another web hosting service. Any suggestions regarding what service is most user friendly and reliable? (Go Daddy ect..)

There are literally hundreds to choose from. You just have to look around and find one that has features and services that meet your needs. Ask friends -- nothing like a good recommendation. I'd tell you what I use, but I use higher-priced pro solutions which are probably not what you are looking for.
I am not sure if I need something high level pro, but need a site to accept payments, leave reviews, host videos, etc. as I am thinking of starting a business via the web. Any suggestions for my needs? Thanks!
Sounds like you need something professional. If you don't know how to build things like that I would consult with a pro that does.
MacAce, my Mac ISP, has just released this replacement to MobileMe which solves the hosting and iDisk problem for iWeb: http://www.macmate.me
MacMate seems to do everything MobileMe did but with a few nice features like multiple domains, telephone support (the very thought!) and email with spam and virus protection. Whilst my .mac address is nice, it'll be nice to have a decent service for a change, and @macmate.me is almost as good - I'll still be hanging on to my .mac address though!
I scoured the net looking for a MobileMe Alternative and found Macace. Thank God! They are brilliant! I was quite worried about the move but they helped me all the way, they even sorted my name server settings and domain transfer for me. All I had to do was enter the details they gave me in to iweb and press publish. I can see why they win awards.
