not because I need the info., but because it's much easier to get my wife up-to-speed.

If I select the 'Windows Friendly' attachment would my Pages document be automatically converted to a pdf format?
John: No. You need to export from Pages as a PDF to send a PDF. You can also "Share" from Pages to export and send the email.
Gary, if the attachment is a document, will it be displayed in the mail text as well? or as attachment only?
Marion: Depends on how you view it and what type of document it is. It will always be an attachment. But when you view emails with attachments in the Mail app, you should be able to see them in the viewing windows as well.
