Is This a Computer Memory Problem?

When I’m in Safari editing a Wix site, I get this window that says, “This webpage is using significant energy. Closing it may improve the responsiveness of your Mac.”
Where or what app is having a memory problem? Safari, my computer?
I have never got this window ever, except for now in Wix.

HiSierra 10.13.6 – 16GB memory MacPro late 2013

Thanks, Joe R

This isn't a memory problem. It just sounds like the web page you are visiting just has a lot going on. If you are in editing mode on a complex page-building web app, then it makes sense that it would be using a lot of energy.

There's no much you can do about it. Maybe let Wix know? It would have to be something the fix on their end. Or, maybe a 2013 computer is not something that develop their site for.

One thing I would check for is to see if maybe you have one or more Safari extensions running? That could be complicating things. Maybe think about any Safari extensions and try doing without them if you can.
