More RAM in 27″ i7

Hello Gary quick question. My new beautiful 27″ iMac already has 4GB of RAM. It’s my understanding 32bit OS cam not handle more than 4GB RAM. But I also read Mac OS X has a technology built in that can allow to handle more RAM. is this true and should I save my money and keep my 4GB of RAM?

You Mac is 64 bit and so is your OS. The only thing that is not is the kernel, which is 32 so you can still run 32 bit applications. It certainly can take more than 4gb of ram. If you need more memory and can afford it, then get the memory. I have 10gb in my much older Mac Pro.
