Hi Gary,
For some reason, my MacBook Pro will consume half the battery (recently replaced at the Apple Store) over a few hours when it’s asleep.
Is there any way to troubleshoot, to find out which processes are causing this unusual drain?
Thanks,
Luigi

Is it connected to anything (USB, display, ethernet) while sleeping? That might do it.
Also, make sure it is sleeping -- don't just close the lid. I find that sometimes my older MacBook Pro will remain awake for 15-30 minutes after I close the lid.
You can start to run tests to figure out what might be doing it. Try quitting some or all applications before putting it to sleep. Process of elimination.
