With macOS 26.2 you turn the edges of your screen into a light to help illuminate your face while on a video call. This new feature works as an overlay on the screen so as to not interfere with screen sharing.

Thanks for the post! I just tried Edge Lighting on my 2-screen setup (MacBook Pro and Studio Display). Even though the camera was set to the Studio Display, the Edge Lighting effect appeared on my MacBook Pro screen! There doesn't seem to be any way to change this. Bug?
Adam: Maybe the screen that is indicated as the primary in Display settings?
