Problem with Isync

I paired up my Nokia with my Mac through Isync. As it stands, the way it works is that the Address Book syncs itself to the phone book. Is it possible to flip that and make the phone sync to the Address Book?
I deleted all contacts in my phone in order to sync afresh with my Address Book, which has updated details etc. But now if I click Sync, my address book will empty out since my phones empty.
Or is there any other software which can let user define sourc and destination?
