Problem with Copying Files Onto External HD

I’m running Mac OS 10 and Windows XP using parallels and I have a Seagate external hard drive that was working fine before I installed Windows XP. I must’ve somehow set the format of the external hard drive to “Windows NTFS”. When I first bought the hard drive I formatted it to work on a Mac and I thought when I installed Windows XP that I had to format it to work on Windows too. I can open files on my external hard drive when I’m in MAC OS and I can transfer files from the hard drive onto the mac desktop, but I can’t transfer files that are on my mac OS onto the hard drive. I can only do that in windows. Can you give any help? Thanks a lot!

Right. You should format the drive as FAT32 so that both Mac and Windows can read and write to it.
