There’s a lot talking about clean installation of Lion, but no one tells what are the benefits about it.
I just done the normal installation and it’s running very smooth.
So, if you do this clean install, it will format your hard drive, and loose all info in it?

Do the normal install.
A "clean install" is when you erase the drive and install from scratch.
It was a common practice 10 years ago when OS installers weren't that good and software had more problems.
But it leads to a lot of problems: You have to re-install all of your applications (and you may not have installers for all of them). You lose your preferences for your applications. You may lose documents because you thought you had them archived, but didn't.
I don't recommend a clean install for anyone.
