Gary do we need to go through all all the setups for setting up iCloud as given on this site or can we do it on either Iphone or iMac to have all in sync ?

Not sure what you are asking. You have to go through the steps, of course. But you do it on one device (Mac, probably best) and then sign into it on the others. You'll see.
