Markdown is a way of writing plain text documents that still accounts for some styling. You can't view Markdown very well in macOS, but a simple Shortcut will let you Quick Look Markdown files and even copy and paste from them with styles.

You can use the &UDM=14 trick to see Google search results with fewer ads and no special features like maps or AI. But it can be hard to apply, especially in Safari. An easier way is to just select Web-only results in the page menu, or start from a third-party site.

My 2021 Shortcut that allows you to capture text from any part of the screen isn't working in macOS 14.5 as there seems to be a bug in Shortcuts concerning screen capture. Here's a temporary work-around until Apple fixes the bug.
