I need to purchase a monitor to use with my macbook pro 2010 and work PC. Any recommendations? I’d prefer 27in+. There are so many options out there and need some help. Thanks

You are right, there are a lot of options. Many of the monitors are actually the same insides, with different cases and extras. It is hard to choose.
I would look at reviews at sites like NewEgg and Amazon and see what is on sale. Get one that is good, but also at a good price. Ultimately you have to roll the dice and try one.
I've been using a Dell 30-inch monitor which has lasted years. A great value. But I have no reason to think that any other 30-inch monitor I would have bought would not have been equally as good.
Thanks Gary. One more monitor related question. Can you foresee or experienced any issues using a PC with an Apple Display?
One big issue would be finding a PC that uses mini DisplayPort. Since that is what the Apple display takes, then if you don't have that coming out of your PC, you will need to buy an adaptor.
I'm not sure why you would do this. Apple displays are more expensive and if you need an adaptor to get from your PC to the display, it will cost even more.
