Do You Use a Privacy Extension In Safari?

A while back you reviewed the DuckDuckGo extension for Safari. With that extension no longer available, do you use another extension (e.g., Ghostery Lite) when using Safari?

No, I don't. Safari's default privacy is already pretty good.

There are two things I do in addition to that. The first is I am not logged into Facebook. If you are, then all of those Facebook pixels (cookies) track you from site to site. Not a huge deal, but I don't want to give that to Facebook. If I need to view or post to Facebook I use my iPhone app or log in using a private window.

That's the other thing I do. If I want to l view a site or do a search and don't want to be tracked, I switch to a private window. For instance, I know if I search for airfares I'll be seeing airline ads for the rest of the week.
