I have a problem with several of my Logic / Garage Band Software Instruments. Many of the sound samples are twice on my HD. It is quite difficult to find them all the conventional way because they are hidden in a net of folders and sub-folders.
Is there any chance to find (and eliminate) all double files in a (more or less) automatic way?

You could write an AppleScript to do this, but it would take less time to track down the duplicates manually. They are probably grouped together in two folders, so as soon as you locate one duplicate file, you'll have the rest.
I thought that it should work with Automator. But I don't know how.
You might be able to do it with automator, but I wouldn't recommend it as this is the sort of thing that you only need to do once. Once you find and delete the duplicates, you shouldn't have to do it again. So it would be a waste of time to write an automator script.
