I'm not an Aperture user, actually. Anyone else want to chime in?
Apple is notoriously secretive about upcoming products. Anyone who knows anything about the next gen of Aperture is under a NDA.
That said, a while back someone who implied they were in the know posted anonymously that Apple is coming out with something and that it would be "fantastic".
I think Apple's secrecy is a stupid move on their part because people see the beta for Lightroom 3 and are jumping ship. Apple won't breathe a word about Aperture 3 until it's a finished product, at which point they'll have lost a significant customer base to Adobe.
Oh well. Aperture 2 works for me but I'm not a pro. I'm interested in what Aperture 3 will bring and will buy it when it comes out. Apple had better come out with something before year end, or I'll end up being their only Aperture customer. :-)
