How Do I Make a Clock Radio Out Of My iPhone?

Is there a way to use my iPhone as a clock radio? At night, I would like to use an app like IHeart to play a particular radio station for a specific period of time and have it shut off when that time is reached.

AM stations on a clock radio in my area are difficult to connect to as they drop their broadcast power in the evening. I would like to be able to connect to various talk radio stations at night in bed and have the phone disconnect when I fall asleep so as not to run all night.

Yes, you can do it for the most part. The Clock app is the key. You can use to set a sleep timer. I'm not 100% sure it works with that app in particular though. Try it out. https://macmost.com/setting-a-sleep-timer-on-your-iphone.html

Other apps have a built-in sleep timer. I use my iPhone to play audiobooks through the Audible app. There is a sleep timer in that app itself. I use it every night.

Note that you can listen to a lot of those radio stations in the Music app too. So if your particular app isn't working with the sleep function, try it through the Music app. https://macmost.com/listenting-to-radio-stations-with-the-music-app-on-your-apple-devices.html
